This cycling tour is stunning, each day so different, beautiful hotels, quaint guest houses simply charming hosts, home made food, friendly people and incredible views. Slovenians are so proud of their traditions and customs. Everywhere so clean, safe and green.

Arrive at Ljubljana Airport then half hour transfer to Lake Bled 45 mins

Tonight and tomorrow we stay at
Tradition is to take Pletna (Boat) to the island and make a wish After Walk or cycle around the lake and take a thousand pictures, visit the Fairytale Castle, what a view !!
You can swim in lake Bled or we can take a short ride and visit

DAY 3 Bled - Kamnik 58km

Surrounded by the Julian Alps. The town of Kamnik has three castles as well as many examples of historical architecture. This evening we dine at Marija Kitchen, Marija loves to describe what she shall offer, home cooked by herself.
Now you can really taste Slovenia.

DAY 4 Kamnik 24km

Round trip Ride to cable car then Hike Velika. Not a difficult hike planina
At the end of spring, cowbells ring on announcing the arrival of shepherds. The fairy-tale plateau with one of the largest shepherd settlements in Europe invites you to learn about the interesting life on the mountain. Lunch in a log Cabin with 360 degree views. Goulash and pine schnapps yummy!!

DAY 5 Kamnik - Logarska Dolina 64km Picnik lunch

The Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful alpine glacial valleys in Europe
Situated within the Kamnik-Savinj Alps. Words can not explain how beautiful this is. Also we shall ride 7 km to Rinka waterfall, one of the highest in Slovenia.

DAY 6 Logarska - Ravne na Koroškem

Over the top and into Austria, views far as far as the eye can see. Meandering through the quietest quaintest of Austrian villages.

DAY 7 Ravne na Koroškem - Maribor 66km

Following The cycling route along the River Drava, second largest in Slovenia following it all the way to Maribor.
Maribor the second largest City and the starting point for discovering this the eastern part of Slovenia. The green hills part of Alpine Slovenia. The oldest vine in the world grows in the very center of the city! We shall visit and taste wine from the house of the old vine

DAY 8 Maribor - Ptuj 58km

Rising gently above a wide valley. Ptuj is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia. Ptuj equals Ljubljana in terms of historical importance. Medieval, with it's cobblestone alleys rimmed by interesting facades, ornate monasteries. The large castle perched above the town overlooking the Drava river.

DAY 9 Ptuj - Jerusalem 52km

Through forrests tiny smooth trails, crossing the river Mura by water powered wooden ferry. Here time stands still, traditions are evident. All of this tour you will see no litter. These kind gentle people are very proud of their little country.

DAY 10 Today you have a choice, Ride 61km or walk 12km

Jerusalem Wine and walk round trip, tasting local foods and Wines in the Hills of Jerusalem, visiting the vintage traditional Wine cellars, also a tour of the local Pumpkin Oil factory

DAY 11/12

Transfer to Ljubljana Capital of Slovenia (2.5 hours) after Breakfast all aboard 9.30AM
Mostly pedestrian, Crime free stunning at every turn. One of the best ways to see Ljubljana is a guided food tour. The whole place is amazing and deserves an extra day at least to fully explore.

Remember all you do is pedal we do the rest. If you dot feel like riding at any point remember our back up vehicle is no more than five minutes away.
